Bombay High Court Halts MCA Polls
The Bombay High Court stopped the elections for the top leaders of the Maharashtra Cricket Association (MCA) that were supposed to happen on January 6, 2026.
Some people who used to play cricket and other groups said the elections were not fair.
They claimed that too many new members were added to the voter list, including family and friends of the current president, Rohit Pawar.
The court said the elections should wait until they can check if everything was done correctly.
The next hearing is on February 4, 2026.
Bombay High Court halted the MCA Apex Council elections scheduled for January 6, 2026.
