AIIMS Bibinagar Unveils Rs 5.4 Crore Robotic Facility
AIIMS Bibinagar, a big hospital in Telangana, just got some really cool new equipment worth ₹5.4 crore.
This equipment was paid for by a company called Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) as part of their social responsibility program.
The new stuff includes a robot that helps doctors do surgery more precisely and a super realistic dummy patient that helps medical and nursing students practice.
This is great news because it will help people who can't afford expensive medical care and also make sure that future doctors and nurses get the best training possible.
The new facilities were officially opened by the hospital's director, with some important people from IOCL also there to celebrate.
AIIMS Bibinagar inaugurated advanced medical and academic facilities worth ₹5.4 crore under IOCL's CSR initiative.
An automated robotic assisted surgery system was launched to enable precision-based advanced surgical care.
A high-fidelity adult patient simulator was inaugurated to enhance simulation-based clinical training for medical and nursing students.
The facilities were inaugurated by Prof. Amita Aggarwal, executive director of AIIMS Bibinagar.
