Parmeet Sethi's Son Ayushmaan Nearly Cast as Kuljeet in DDLJ Musical
Actor Parmeet Sethi, who played Kuljeet in the famous movie Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, shared a cool story about his son, Ayushmaan.
Ayushmaan auditioned for the same role in a musical version of the movie called 'Come Fall in Love' that played in London.
He got very close to getting the part and was even shortlisted.
However, he didn't get the final role because the musical creators were looking for someone who had a lot of experience singing classical Western music.
Ayushmaan explained that he has some singing experience, but not as much as they were looking for.
This is an interesting coincidence because Parmeet himself had to audition for the role of Kuljeet in the original movie years ago.
Parmeet Sethi revealed his son Ayushmaan Sethi auditioned for the role of Kuljeet in the musical adaptation of 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge' titled 'Come Fall in Love'.
Ayushmaan Sethi was shortlisted for the role in the Broadway adaptation, which was performed in London's West End.
The role of Kuljeet was originally played by Parmeet Sethi in the 1995 film 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge'.
Ayushmaan Sethi did not secure the final role because the production sought a performer with extensive experience in Western classical singing.
The revelation was made during a YouTube Live session celebrating the family's channel milestone.
