Mizoram's New Rail Link Transports First Automobiles
A new train line in Mizoram, called the Bairabi-Sairang line, has started carrying cars and other goods.
This is the first time Mizoram's capital, Aizawl, is connected to the rest of India's train network.
The first cars transported were 119 Maruti Suzuki cars, and the line has also carried cement and flowers.
The train line is important because it helps move goods more efficiently and reduces pollution from cars.
There are also passenger trains running on this line, and they are very popular.
The Indian Railways is trying to transport more cars by train to help the environment and make the automobile industry more sustainable.
