Three Dead, One Injured in Jharkhand Steel Factory Fire

A fire started late Friday night at a steel factory in Jharkhand.

It began in the factory’s captive power plant.

Four workers were badly burned.

Three workers later died in a hospital.

One worker, Tarun Rajwar, was still being treated for injuries.

The people who died were Sanjeev Kumar Kesri, Vinit Mahto and Abhishek Pandey.

A factory official said the fire may have followed a turbine blast caused by an overheated control panel.

Police said that explanation is still being investigated.
