Apple's Rumored iPhone Ultra Foldable Targets September Debut
Apple is reportedly making its first phone with a screen that folds.
It may be called the iPhone Ultra.
The phone is expected to fold like a book and open into a larger display.
Apple may try to make it thinner and reduce the visible fold line.
Reports say it could cost more than $2,000.
It might be announced in September with other new iPhones.
At first, it may only be sold in the United States.
Other countries could receive it slowly through 2027 because Apple may not have enough devices to meet demand.
The reported phone could include a new chip, lots of memory, a large battery, and possibly Touch ID.
Apple is expected to introduce its first foldable phone, reportedly called the iPhone Ultra, in September alongside the iPhone 18 Pro series.
The device is rumored to use a book-style design, a slimmer profile, and a display crease minimized with Samsung’s panel expertise.
The iPhone Ultra could cost more than $2,000, or roughly Rs. 1.96 lakh, making it Apple’s most expensive iPhone.
Supply constraints and estimated demand of about 10 million units could lead to a limited, staggered rollout beginning in the United States.
Leaked specifications include a 2nm A20 Pro chip, at least 12GB of RAM, possible Touch ID, and a 5,500mAh battery.
