Ex-Crime Branch Inspector, Three Others Booked in Bribe Case
Indore Lokayukta police have registered a case against four people.
They are accused of asking a woman for ₹1.2 lakh.
The woman said the money would settle a complaint against her son.
She alleged that ₹50,800 was transferred online to one accused person.
She said another ₹70,000 was paid in cash the next day.
Her son was released after the first payment, according to her complaint.
Investigators checked technical and digital evidence submitted with the complaint.
The accused include a former police inspector, a constable, and two private individuals.
The investigation is still continuing.
