Ariha Pangambam wins India's first Asian aerobic gymnastics gold

Ariha Pangambam is a gymnast from India who performs aerobic gymnastics, a sport that mixes dance moves and flips with music.

She travelled to the Philippines for a big competition called the Asian Championships.

Ariha won a gold medal in her category, making her the first Indian ever to do so.

The judges gave her 19.100 points, which is a very good score.

She was extra happy because at the last competition she finished in fourth place, just a few points away from a medal.

To become so good, she practised for about six hours every day.

Ariha says she also got a lot of help from her coach and her parents.

This is India's first gold medal in aerobic gymnastics in the history of the Asian Championships, which has been held 10 times.

India also won a bronze medal in another event called the Senior Aero Step.
