Shubman Gill's Controversial LBW & Boos During Fourth Test
In a cricket match, Shubman Gill got out because the ball hit his leg, even though it was on the outside of the stumps.
This happened because he didn't try to hit the ball with his bat.
According to the rules, if a batter doesn't swing at the ball, they can be out LBW even if the ball hits them outside the stumps, if the ball would have hit the wickets.
Also, when he went to bat, some fans booed him.
This might have been because of a past argument with an English player or because of his criticism of the opposing team's sportsmanship.
Shubman Gill was declared LBW in the fourth Test despite the ball impacting outside the off stump.
The dismissal occurred because Gill did not attempt to play the ball with his bat.
ICC rules state a batter can be LBW if they don't attempt a shot and the ball would have hit the wickets.
Gill also faced boos from spectators as he walked out to bat on Day 1 at Old Trafford.
The boos may have been related to a scuffle with Zak Crawley and comments on England's cricket spirit.
