Hackers Threaten to Leak Pornhub User Data
Some hackers called ShinyHunters stole a lot of data from Pornhub's paying users.
They say they have 94GB of data with over 200 million records of what these users watched and searched for.
The hackers want money in Bitcoin to not release this data.
Pornhub says the data was taken from a third-party company they use, not directly from Pornhub.
They also say no passwords, payment details, or IDs were stolen.
The hackers sent some of the data to a news agency to prove they have it.
Pornhub is working to fix the problem.
Hackers claim to have stolen 94GB of data from Pornhub's premium users, including 201 million records of search and watch history.
ShinyHunters is demanding a ransom in Bitcoin to prevent the data from being published.
Pornhub confirms a cybersecurity incident involving a third-party analytics company, affecting some premium users.
No passwords, payment details, or government IDs were compromised, according to Pornhub.
Mixpanel denies responsibility, stating Pornhub was not among the affected clients in their November data breach.
