AIFF U-15 Coaching Chaos: Fernandes and Bajaj at Odds
The All India Football Federation, called the AIFF for short, is trying to pick a coach for its under-15 football team.
Two important football people, Bibiano Fernandes and Ranjit Bajaj, do not want to work together.
This makes the decision very hard for the AIFF.
If Bibiano says yes to the coaching job, the AIFF will have to handle the bad feelings between the two men.
If Bibiano says no, the AIFF will probably pick Surinder Singh as the coach instead.
Surinder Singh works as the technical director at Minerva Academy.
He has a top coaching license called the AFC Pro-License.
He is also part of Ranjit Bajaj's coaching staff.
So the final choice depends on what Bibiano decides.
Right now, everyone is waiting to see what happens.
The AIFF faces a difficult position because Ranjit Bajaj and Bibiano Fernandes are unwilling to work together.
If Bibiano Fernandes accepts the coaching offer, the AIFF will have to manage the antagonism between him and Bajaj.
If Bibiano Fernandes declines, Minerva Academy technical director Surinder Singh is expected to be appointed head coach.
Surinder Singh is an AFC Pro-Licensed coach and part of Ranjit Bajaj's coaching staff.
Bibiano Fernandes has been left waiting while the AIFF weighs its U-15 coaching decision.
