Boeing and Alaska Airlines Announce Largest Fleet Deal
Boeing and Alaska Airlines made a big deal for new airplanes.
They are buying 105 737-10 jets and five 787 Dreamliners.
This is the largest order Alaska Airlines has ever made.
The new planes will help the airline fly to more places and carry more passengers.
The 737-10s will be used for busy routes, and the 787s will help the airline fly to places far away, like Europe and Asia.
This deal is part of a long-term plan to grow and improve the airline.
It's also a special year because Boeing and Alaska Airlines have been working together for 60 years.
Boeing and Alaska Airlines announced the largest fleet deal in the airline's history, including 105 737-10 jets and five 787 Dreamliners.
The order also includes options for 35 additional 737-10 jets, bringing the total 737 MAX order to 174 aircraft.
The 737-10 aircraft will support the renewal and growth of Alaska Airlines' single-aisle fleet, enabling more routes and lower costs per seat.
The five 787 Dreamliners will support the airline's long-haul growth strategy, expanding its international network to include Europe and Asia.
The announcement marks the 60th year of partnership between Boeing and Alaska Airlines, which began with the delivery of a Boeing 727.
