Bandra Gymkhana President Cheryl Misquitta Resigns, EGM Cancelled
Bandra Gymkhana is a very old and big club in Mumbai, India, with about 7,000 members.
A doctor named Cheryl Misquitta became its president in September 2025.
Some members did not want her in charge and made claims against her.
They said there were problems with the voting and that security videos were missing.
A retired judge checked everything and said the election was fair and she had done nothing wrong.
Even so, the club tried to remove her at a special meeting.
A court stepped in, cancelled that removal, and gave her back her job.
The club then planned another meeting to talk about removing her again.
She felt very sad and tired from the long fight, so she decided to quit.
