Russia Claims Capture of Villages in Ukraine
Russia said its soldiers took over two small towns in Ukraine.
One is in the north, and the other is in the east.
Russia also attacked places like train tracks, power stations, and military airports in Ukraine.
They did this to make it harder for Ukraine to move soldiers and supplies.
Ukraine and Russia have been fighting for a long time, and both sides keep trying to gain an advantage.
The fighting is still going on, and it's not clear when it will stop.
Russian forces captured Kucherivka in the Kharkiv region and Rivne in the Donetsk region.
Russia conducted strikes on Ukrainian transport infrastructure, fuel and energy facilities, military airfields, and long-range drone complexes.
The captures and strikes are part of the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine.
Russia aims to disrupt Ukrainian military logistics and supply chains.
The conflict continues with no immediate signs of a resolution.
