BJP Demands Karnataka Minister Satish Jarkiholi’s Removal Over ED Allegations

The Bharatiya Janata Party has asked Karnataka’s government to remove Minister Satish Jarkiholi.

The request came from opposition leader R. Ashoka.

He referred to allegations made by the Enforcement Directorate.

The allegations involve possible bribes, money sent overseas and mining investments.

Ashoka said money from public works contracts may have been moved through unauthorised channels.

He linked some of these claims to Bharat Vanijya Eastern Pvt Ltd.

The Enforcement Directorate also alleged that Jarkiholi obtained a large stake in a gold-mining company in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

The article reports the allegations and demand, but does not include a response from Jarkiholi.
