Punjab BJP chief Dhillon meets Nitin Nabin amid dissent
The BJP is a big political party.
The leader of the BJP in the state of Punjab is Kewal Singh Dhillon.
He went to Delhi, the capital city, to meet the national leader of his party, Nitin Nabin.
Some party members were unhappy because of changes made to the party's team, and they felt older members were being left out.
Dhillon and the national leader talked about getting ready for the next big election in 2027.
Earlier, a leader from another party called the Akali Dal had met the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, on Friday, which made people wonder if the two parties might join together again.
Dhillon said the Punjab government is not solving problems like drugs and safety.
He asked people to hoist the national flag at home for Independence Day.
A special flag march and a yatra about Guru Ravidas are also happening in Punjab.

Dhillon and state organisation secretary Manthri Srinivasulu were summoned on Saturday amid dissent over the recent organisational reshuffle, with some leaders accusing the state leadership of sidelining the old cadre.
The talks came after SAD president Sukhbir Singh Badal met Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday, sparking speculation that the regional party might join hands with the BJP again.
Dhillon attacked the AAP government over drugs, law and order and youth migration, and announced Har Ghar Tiranga and Tiranga Yatras for Independence Day, plus a Kalash Yatra for Guru Ravidas' 650th birth anniversary.
