TET Paper Leak Case: Fugitive Accused Surrenders, Arrest Count Reaches 15
A big exam called the TET was leaked before it was supposed to happen.
The police found out and arrested many people involved.
One of the accused, Sonu Diwakar, was hiding but recently surrendered to the police.
He worked at a place where the exam papers were printed and helped steal them.
The police are still looking for one more person who is still hiding.
They are also checking phones and money records to find out more about who was involved and how they did it.
Some of the people arrested want to be released on bail, but the police think they should stay in jail because it's a serious crime.
Sonu Diwakar, a key accused in the TET paper leak case, surrendered before the Bhiwandi court, bringing the total arrests to 15.
Diwakar allegedly played a crucial role in extracting the question papers from the printing press and passing them to the mastermind, Bijendra Gupta.
The SIT is investigating digital evidence and financial transactions to uncover the full extent of the conspiracy.
One accused, Prakash Digambar Misal, remains absconding, with search operations ongoing to apprehend him.
Four accused have filed bail applications, with the court scheduled to hear the pleas on Wednesday.
