NCLT Approves ₹900 Crore Resolution Plan for Rolta India
The National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) has approved a plan to help Rolta India Limited, a company that provides IT solutions, by giving it ₹900 crore.
This money will come from a company called Ashdan Properties Private Limited (APPL).
The plan was voted on by a group of people who are owed money by Rolta India, and everyone voted in favor.
The money must be given to Rolta India within 30 days of the NCLT's approval.
This plan was created because Rolta India was having financial troubles, and a bank called Union Bank of India started the process to help fix these problems.
Rolta India works with many different industries, including government, healthcare, and manufacturing.
The NCLT approved a ₹900 crore resolution plan for Rolta India Limited submitted by Ashdan Properties Private Limited (APPL).
The plan was unanimously approved by the Committee of Creditors (CoC) with 100% voting in favor.
APPL must infuse the entire plan amount within 30 days of receiving the NCLT approval order.
The Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process (CIRP) was initiated on January 19, 2023, following a plea by Union Bank of India.
Dr. Mamta Binani was appointed as the Resolution Professional and oversaw the process.
