CAF Appeals Committee Clears Eto'o, Overturns Stadium Ban and Fine

CAF Appeals Committee Clears Eto'o, Overturns Stadium Ban and Fine

Samuel Eto'o is one of the most famous football players ever to come from Cameroon.

He used to play for big teams like Barcelona, Inter Milan and Chelsea.

Today he is the boss of the football federation in Cameroon, called FECAFOOT.

During a big African tournament, his country's team lost a match to Morocco.

Some people at the football organization CAF said he behaved badly during that game.

They punished him by keeping him away from stadiums for four games.

They also said he had to pay 20,000 dollars.

Eto'o and his federation said the punishment was not fair and asked for a new look at the case.

A group of judges called the CAF Appeals Board agreed and cancelled the punishment.

Now Eto'o does not have to pay the money or stay away from stadiums.
