Haryana Allots 100-Sq-Yard Plots to Rural Families
The Haryana government is giving 100-square-yard plots of land to poor families in villages who don't own any land.
This is part of a special program called the Haryana Mukhya Mantri Gramin Awas Yojana.
These families earn less than ₹1.80 lakh per year.
The government is also building roads, water supply, and other basic things needed for living on these plots.
This helps families feel more secure and stable.
It's not just about having a place to live, but also about having something valuable that can help them in the future.
The program is for families who don't have a permanent house and have a special ID called Parivar Pehchan Patra.
Haryana government allots 100-square-yard plots to landless rural families under the MMGAY scheme.
Eligible families must have an annual income below ₹1.80 lakh and no permanent house.
Plots come with infrastructure like roads, water supply, and basic amenities.
The scheme aims to provide asset security, reduce rent burden, and offer stability to low-income households.
Around 7,000 more families will benefit from this initiative.
