Ashwin Ruled Out of BBL 15 Due to Knee Injury
A famous Indian cricket player named Ravichandran Ashwin was going to play in a big cricket tournament in Australia called the BBL.
But, while practicing, he hurt his knee.
He had to have surgery, and because of that, he can't play in the tournament this year.
He is very sad about this because he was really looking forward to it and wanted to be the first Indian player with national caps to play in the BBL.
He is now focusing on getting better so he can play again in the future.
His team, the Sydney Thunder, is also sad he can't play but hopes he can still be involved in some way, maybe cheering them on or helping out.
He might even try to visit the team later in the season if he's feeling well enough.
Ravichandran Ashwin has been ruled out of the entire Big Bash League (BBL) 15 season due to a knee injury.
The injury occurred during a training session in Chennai while preparing for the upcoming BBL season.
Ashwin underwent surgery and will focus on rehabilitation and recovery.
He was set to be the first capped Indian male cricketer to play in the BBL.
Sydney Thunder expressed their disappointment but remain hopeful of a long-term relationship with Ashwin.
