Strawberry Moon 2025: Details on June 11th Viewing

The Strawberry Moon, a full moon, will be visible on June 11, 2025.

It is the last full moon before the summer solstice.

Its name comes from when the strawberries ripen.

The moon won't be pink; the name comes from the Algonquin tribes in North America.

This time, it is special due to a rare lunar standstill.

It appears golden or amber because of how the light scatters.

In India, it's best viewed shortly after sunset.
