AI Visuals Criticized in Vijay's Farewell Film

Vijay's last film, Jana Nayagan, has been criticized for its extensive use of AI-generated visuals.

The first half of the film looks good because it was shot conventionally with real locations and actors.

However, the second half, which features AI-generated crowds, environments, and enhanced versions of the actors, looks fake and cheap.

The film's director, H Vinoth, used AI to create scenes of a fictional African civil war, but the visuals are not convincing.

The film also includes an AI-generated version of the late actor MGR, which was poorly executed.

The use of AI in the film has raised concerns about the future of VFX artists and the quality of films that rely too heavily on AI.

Despite its high budget of Rs 500 crore, the film's poor visual quality has overshadowed its story and performances.
