Man Assaulted During Mhasoba Yatra Event
A man named Sudhir Prakash Vairage was hurt during a cultural event in a village called Soni Javala.
He went to give money to performers on stage, but a group of people started hitting him with sticks and an iron pipe.
Another person who tried to help was also hurt.
The police have identified 12 people involved and are investigating what happened.
The whole thing was caught on video and shared online.
Sudhir Prakash Vairage was assaulted during a cultural program in Soni Javala village.
The attack occurred around 9pm when Vairage approached the stage to give money to performers.
Vairage was beaten with sticks and an iron pipe, causing injuries to his back, arm, shoulder, and head.
Another person who tried to intervene was also assaulted with sticks and punched.
Police have registered a case against 12 identified individuals and are investigating the incident.
