CET Cell Clarifies MBA Seat Matrix, Excludes 30% Women Reservation
The Maharashtra CET Cell said that the rule that 30% of seats should go to women does not apply to MBA and other postgraduate business programs.
They changed the seat chart after some students noticed the rule was missing.
The rule only applies to college courses, not graduate ones.
The new chart shows how many seats are for each group, like Open, SC, ST, OBC, EWS, PwD, and Defence.
This change helps students know how many spots they can get.
CET Cell clarified that 30% female reservation never applied to MBA/MMS/PGDM programs.
Seat matrix was revised after counseling began, removing women's reservation.
Government Resolution applies only to undergraduate courses, not postgraduate.
Revised provisional seat matrix released for 2026-27 academic session.
Seat matrix includes categories: Open, SC, ST, OBC, EWS, PwD, Defence.
