Civic chief warns against building plan deviations
The head of the city's municipal department, Rahul Meena, has warned builders and property owners that they must follow the approved plans exactly when constructing buildings.
He visited some areas to check if new buildings were being built according to the approved plans.
He said that if buildings don't follow the plans, they won't get the necessary certificates to be used.
Officials were told to keep a close watch on all construction projects to make sure no one builds extra parts without permission.
The main message is that everyone must follow the rules to avoid getting in trouble.
Municipal Commissioner Rahul Meena inspected buildings in Gandhinagar 4 and Gadalamma Nagar to check for deviations from approved plans.
Occupancy Certificates for multi-storied buildings will only be issued if constructions strictly adhere to sanctioned plans.
City Planning officials were directed to identify and issue legal notices to structures violating building codes.
Constant vigilance was instructed for ongoing projects to prevent unauthorized extensions or setbacks.
Deputy City Planners Naidu and P Srinivas, along with technical staff, participated in the inspection.
