Priyanka Gandhi Donates Advanced Vehicle to Wayanad Wildlife Response Team
A leader named Priyanka Gandhi gave a special new vehicle to a team that helps when people and wild animals have problems in a place called Wayanad.
This team is called the Rapid Response Team (RRT).
The vehicle cost a lot of money, and more equipment like special cameras and tools will be given to them soon.
This will help them handle dangerous situations with wild animals, like tigers, much better.
Priyanka promised to help them get these new tools after learning about their needs, especially after a sad event where a tiger attacked someone.
The goal is to keep both people and animals safer.
Priyanka Gandhi Vadra donated a state-of-the-art vehicle to the Forest Department's rapid response team in Wayanad.
The vehicle was provided at a cost of Rs 50 lakh from the JSW Foundation's Social Commitment Fund.
Additional equipment worth Rs 1.34 crore, including thermal drones and night vision binoculars, will also be supplied.
The initiative aims to help the RRT address human-wildlife conflict in the region.
