Disabled urged to obtain ID cards in Kothagudem

In Kothagudem, the International Day of Persons with Disabilities was celebrated at the Collectorate.

The officials urged all eligible persons with disabilities to get their UDID cards, which help them access various benefits.

They explained how to get these cards and make corrections online.

The officials also talked about different welfare schemes, like financial help for marriages and insurance.

They encouraged people to form self-help groups and use services like physiotherapy and speech therapy available at Bhavitha Centres in every area.

Parents were advised to make use of these services for their children with special needs.
