Lokesh to Distribute Pattas to 372 Mangalagiri Families
Nara Lokesh will give house-site ownership papers to 372 families.
The families live in homes built on government land.
Many of them have lived there for more than 30 years.
Without legal papers, they found it difficult to sell their homes or obtain loans.
The papers will be given at a programme in Kunchanapalli on Monday.
The programme is called Mana Illu–Mana Lokesh.
Thousands of other families have already received similar papers in earlier phases.
Some cases are still waiting because the land is controlled by the Central government.
Education Minister Nara Lokesh will distribute permanent house-site pattas to 372 beneficiaries in Kunchanapalli on Monday.
The Mana Illu–Mana Lokesh programme will take place at Sri Srinivasa Conventions in Tadepalli mandal.
The initiative aims to give legal ownership to poor families living for decades in homes built on government land.
Officials said nearly 80% of patta-related issues have been resolved, while some Central government land cases remain pending.
Earlier phases provided pattas to 3,002 beneficiaries in April last year and 2,634 in July this year, covering land worth nearly ₹2,000 crore.
