Kirti Kulhari Loses ₹2.44 Lakh in Credit Card Cyber Fraud
Kirti Kulhari is a Bollywood actress who was a victim of a cyber fraud.
On July 24, 2023, while going to a movie, she got a warning that her credit card was used for a foreign purchase.
The card was used to buy a flight ticket for Aeromexico Airlines, costing about US$2,525.
She never shared her card details, so the fraudsters must have gotten them from her phone or online.
She blocked the card, filed a police complaint, and the Mumbai Police are now trying to find the people who stole the money.

The fraud involved unauthorized foreign transactions, including a US$2,525 transfer to Aeromexico Airlines.
The incident occurred on July 24 while she was heading to a multiplex in Andheri West, Mumbai.
Mumbai Police have registered a case and are investigating the fraudsters and the money trail.
The actress confirmed she never shared her card PIN or details, and the card was blocked immediately.
