Jharkhand Plans Ranchi IT Park With 75,000 Jobs

Jharkhand wants Ranchi to become an important place for technology companies.

Chief Minister Hemant Soren said the government wants to create better job opportunities for young people in the state.

A new IT Park and modern digital facilities are being planned.

The government also wants to establish a Global Capability Centre for advanced work such as IT, artificial intelligence and semiconductor services.

Work is expected to begin by 2029.

The first stage could create about 20,000 jobs.

The project could later support about 75,000 employment opportunities.

Officials are considering land near IIM Ranchi and important government buildings.

A state delegation is expected to visit Bengaluru to study its technology infrastructure and investment systems.
