Jaswant Singh Rawat’s Uttarakhand Home to Become Grand Museum

Jaswant Singh Rawat was a soldier who fought in the 1962 Sino-India War.

His family home is in Baryun village in Uttarakhand.

BJP MP Anil Baluni wants to turn the home into a museum.

The museum would honor Rawat and other brave soldiers.

Baluni visited the village and paid tribute to Rawat.

Rawat fought at Nuranang in what is now Arunachal Pradesh.

He reportedly held his position for three days and died on November 17, 1962.

He received the Mahavir Chakra after his death.

The planned museum is meant to inspire visitors to serve the nation.
