Urban Company shares hit all-time low
Urban Company's shares have dropped to a new low.
The company, which provides homecare services, is the first of its kind to be listed in India.
The stock price has fallen a lot since its highest point in September.
Investors are not happy because the company's recent financial results were not good.
The company is trying to grow by offering more services in more cities, but there are risks.
For example, customers and service providers might start dealing directly with each other, which could hurt Urban Company's business.
The company's value is currently ₹17,000 crore, but it could grow to ₹5,500 crore by 2029 if things go well.
However, the stock is trading at a high price compared to its earnings, which might make investors hesitant to buy.
Urban Company's shares hit an all-time low of ₹125.23, a 38% drop from the high of ₹201.18 on 22 September.
The stock is vulnerable due to disappointing Q2 results, with adjusted Ebitda falling 10% to ₹18 crore.
Urban Company is India's first listed tech company in homecare services, with a current enterprise value of ₹17,000 crore.
The company aims to achieve a 9%-10% Ebitda margin in the long term, with a net transaction value (NTV) growth of 19% year-on-year.
The stock trades at 31x EV/Ebitda on FY29 estimates, which could deter investors from buying in the near term.
