Deputy CM aids Civil Services aspirants
The Deputy Chief Minister of Hyderabad, Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu, has started a special program called the Rajiv Gandhi Civils Abhay Hastham Scheme.
This program helps people who are trying to become government officers by giving them money.
If someone passes the main part of the exam, they get Rs 1 lakh.
If they pass the interview part, they get another Rs 1 lakh and a place to stay in Delhi.
Last year, 20 people got to the interview stage, and this year, 50 did.
The government wants to help more people every year because sometimes really smart people can't pass the exams just because they don't have enough money.
They also talked to the candidates to make the program even better.
Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu announced financial aid for Civil Services aspirants under the Rajiv Gandhi Civils Abhay Hastham Scheme.
Candidates qualifying for Mains receive Rs 1 lakh, and those selected for interviews receive Rs 1 lakh along with accommodation in Delhi.
The scheme aims to support candidates facing financial difficulties in clearing Civil Services exams.
This year, 202 candidates qualified for Mains and 50 for interviews, a significant increase from last year's 140 and 20 respectively.
The government interacts with candidates to gather feedback and improve the scheme's effectiveness.
