Haryana Deploys Five Mobile Vans for Food Safety Tests

Haryana now has five mobile vans that can test food for adulteration.

Adulteration means mixing something unsafe or unwanted into food.

People can take samples such as milk, spices, pulses or cooking oil to these vans.

Each test costs Rs 20.

The first result usually comes in 10 to 12 minutes.

The vans will visit busy places such as markets, schools, colleges and bus stands.

They will move around the state instead of staying in one location.

Officials hope this will help people learn more about safe food and support action against unsafe products.
