Sibal Warns MPs Against Helping BJP Amend Constitution
Kapil Sibal, a member of the Rajya Sabha, has warned that if the BJP gains a two-thirds majority in Parliament, they could change the Constitution in ways that might harm democracy.
He said this majority could allow the BJP to pass laws that reduce the power of judges and ensure they stay in power forever.
Sibal also accused the BJP of persuading MPs from other parties to join them, which he believes is illegal.
He urged all political parties to work together to stop the BJP from gaining this majority.
Sibal said that any MP who helps the BJP achieve this majority will be remembered as someone who hurt democracy.
