Security Heightened After Punjab Track Blast
There was a small explosion near a train track in Punjab, India.
It happened late at night on Friday.
A part of the track was damaged, and the person driving the train got a small cut on his face.
The police are checking if bad people did this on purpose.
Some people who want an independent state called Khalistan said they did it, but the police are not sure yet.
The track was fixed quickly, and the police are working to find out what happened.
The explosion was loud and scared people in a nearby village.
After the explosion, security was increased at another train station in Gujarat to make sure everyone is safe.
A minor blast damaged a portion of the railway track near Sirhind station in Punjab’s Fatehgarh Sahib district.
The blast occurred on Friday night at around 9:50 PM, injuring the loco pilot of a freight train, Anil Sharma, who sustained a minor cut on his cheek.
The blast caused a crack in the rail track and damaged the engine's glass pane, but the track was quickly repaired and is now fully functional.
