Ari'el Stachel's 'Other' Set for Off-Broadway Debut

Ari’el Stachel is bringing his solo show, 'Other,' to Off-Broadway.

The show, produced by LaChanze, is a comedy-drama based on his life experiences.

Tony Taccone is directing the play, which begins previews in early October.

'Other' explores themes of identity and belonging, and the anxiety of being different.

Stachel will share stories from his childhood and his career.

This performance is both funny and vulnerable, as it details his journey.

This marks LaChanze's first solo production credit.

The show aims to reflect on the shared experiences of everyday people.

It originally was titled 'Out of Character'.
