Chennai Lawyer Arrested for Stealing 134 Train Batteries
Imagine a lawyer who helps people with legal problems by day.
But at night, this same lawyer was secretly stealing batteries from trains!
He took about 134 batteries, which are worth a lot of money, close to 6 lakh rupees.
He did this for almost a year, sneaking into train yards in the early morning hours.
He even used tools to remove the heavy batteries quickly.
Police caught him when they saw a van acting strangely.
The lawyer admitted to the thefts and said he sold most of the batteries to a man who owns a scrap shop.
This scrap shop owner and another person were also arrested.
Now, all three are in jail while the police investigate how widespread this stealing operation was.
