Weather Alert Warns 17 Bihar Districts of Rain and Lightning
Weather officials have warned people in 17 districts of Bihar about possible storms.
Strong winds, lightning and light rain may occur in those places.
Winds could reach 30 to 40 kilometers per hour.
People should be careful and avoid open areas when lightning appears.
The weather may change across Bihar during the next 72 hours.
More rain is expected in many areas on September 15 and September 16.
Some parts of the state are still hot and humid.
Bihar has received less rain than usual because much of the rain activity has shifted toward Central India and nearby regions.
Patna has no specific rain warning, but a sudden shower and strong winds are still possible.
The Meteorological Department issued a weather alert for 17 Bihar districts on Monday.
The warning includes winds of 30 to 40 kmph, lightning and light rain.
A 72-hour outlook predicts varying weather conditions across Bihar.
A Yellow Alert covers around half of Bihar on September 15, while almost the entire state faces a rainfall warning on September 16.
Bihar’s below-normal rainfall has been linked to a low-pressure area over Central India and shifted monsoon activity.
