India's T20 World Cup 2026 Squad Announcement

India's cricket team is announcing the players for their T20 series against New Zealand and the T20 World Cup 2026.

The announcement will happen on December 20, 2025, in Mumbai.

The team for the New Zealand series is expected to be similar to the team for the World Cup.

India will play New Zealand in January 2026 and start their World Cup campaign in February 2026.

The team for the World Cup will be submitted to the International Cricket Council (ICC) in advance, but changes can be made later if needed.

Shubman Gill's recent form has been a concern, and there will be discussions about whether he should keep his spot.

Suryakumar Yadav, the captain, has also been struggling with his form, which is a worry for the team.
