Ambani, Nadar, and Hinduja Families Lead India's Top Philanthropists in FY25

Imagine a big list of very generous people in India who give away a lot of money to help others.

In the last year (called FY25), these generous people gave away a total of about 10,380 crore rupees!

That's a lot more than the year before.

The most popular way people like to help is by giving money to schools and education.

After that, helping people with their health is the next most popular.

Some of the biggest givers are families like the Nadars, the Ambanis, and the Hindujas.

Shiv Nadar and his family gave the most money, even more than Mukesh Ambani and his family.

People who give at least 5 crore rupees or more are on this special list.

This year, more women were also on the list of top givers, and the youngest giver is a young man named Nikhil Kamath.
