Bengaluru Police Probe Suspected Dubai-Linked Gift Coupon Fraud

Police in Bengaluru found a suspected operation involving gift coupon fraud.

They detained and questioned six people.

The operation was at a building on Hennur Main Road.

Police believe it may have targeted people in other countries.

So far, they have not found any victims in India.

Investigators suspect the operation could be connected to a group in Dubai, but they have not confirmed that.

Police also suspected that workers were being trained to commit fraud.

They believed SIM cards registered in other people’s names may have been used to contact and threaten potential victims.
