NTA Advises Early Travel for UGC NET Delhi Re-Exam
The NTA is holding some UGC-NET exams again in September 2026.
The exams are for English, Commerce and Sociology.
They are being repeated because students reported mistakes in the question papers.
Some exams will take place in Delhi on September 9 and 10.
A BRICS Summit will also be held in Delhi around the same time.
This may cause traffic jams, road diversions and longer journeys.
The NTA says students should check their routes and leave early.
Students should reach their centres before the reporting time on their admit cards.
They do not need to pay another examination fee.
The National Testing Agency issued a travel advisory for UGC-NET June 2026 re-exam candidates in Delhi.
Candidates taking exams on September 9 and 10 were warned about traffic diversions, congestion and delays.
The English and Commerce papers will be held on September 9, while Sociology is scheduled for September 10.
The three papers are being retaken after complaints about errors in their question papers.
The advisory cites security and traffic arrangements for the 18th BRICS Summit at Bharat Mandapam; reports differ on whether it runs September 11–13 or September 12–13.
