Ownly integrates with Rapido app in Bengaluru
Ownly, a food delivery service, has joined forces with Rapido, a ride-hailing app, in Bengaluru.
This means you can now order food from almost 20,000 restaurants right from the Rapido app, which you might already use for bike taxis, autos, and cabs.
Ownly promises no extra fees for restaurants and fair prices for customers.
New users get a big discount on their first order, and existing users get a smaller discount on all orders.
Ownly is planning to expand to other big cities soon.
Rapido, which operates in over 400 cities, recently raised a lot of money, showing it's doing well.
Zomato, a big food delivery company, isn't too worried about Ownly and is focusing on its own plans.
Ownly's food delivery service is now integrated into the Rapido app in Bengaluru.
Ownly offers a zero-commission model for restaurants and fair menu prices for customers.
New users get 50% off up to Rs 100 on their first order, and existing users get a flat 25% discount on all orders.
Deliveries are routed through Rapido’s existing rider network to lower logistics costs and improve rider utilization during off-peak hours.
Ownly plans to expand to Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Pune, and Chennai over the next two to three weeks.
