UP to Build Model Cow Shelters Across Eight Divisions
The Uttar Pradesh government is building special cow shelters called 'Adarsh Gaushalas' in different parts of the state.
These places will take care of cows and also help villages grow.
They want to make these shelters self-sufficient, so they can support themselves.
One of the first will be in Bareilly.
The government will also help farmers use natural farming methods without using chemicals.
Women will also be given jobs to make products from the cows.
The goal is to make villages stronger and help cows.
Uttar Pradesh government plans to establish model cow shelters ('Adarsh Gaushalas') across eight divisions.
These gaushalas aim to be self-sustaining, promoting rural economic growth and cow conservation.
Bareilly division's Khangwa Shyam Srishti Mangalam Gaushala has been declared the first model.
The initiative includes natural farming promotion in select blocks within each division.
The government plans to link women's self-help groups with the shelters to create employment.
