Kamal Haasan Sworn in as Rajya Sabha Member
Kamal Haasan, a famous actor and leader of the MNM party, is now a member of the Rajya Sabha, which is like the upper house of the Indian Parliament.
He took his oath in Tamil on July 25.
He got the seat because the DMK and its allies supported him.
They promised him a seat in return for his party's help in the elections.
Before he started his new job, he visited Rajinikanth, another well-known actor.
Now, Haasan will begin working for the people in his new role.
