Mumbai Wards Face Water Disruption for Maintenance
The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) is doing some important maintenance work in Mumbai.
This work will affect five areas in the city, including places like Dharavi, Dadar, and Bandra Kurla Complex.
From January 20 to January 22, the water pressure will be low, so people might get less water than usual.
The BMC will tell everyone the exact times when the water will be supplied a day before.
They are asking everyone to use water carefully during this time.
This is similar to what happened in November when some areas had a water cut for a day.
Five municipal wards in Mumbai will experience low water pressure from January 20 to 22 due to BMC maintenance work.
Affected areas include Dharavi, Dadar, Mahim, Matunga, Marol, Chakala, Airport Road, Sahar, Vikhroli, Kanjurmarg, Bhandup, Bandra Kurla Complex, Santacruz, and Ghatkopar.
The maintenance work will last 44 hours, from 9 AM on January 20 to 5 PM on January 22.
The BMC will supply water in a phased manner to avoid wastage and will inform the public of the regular supply timings a day in advance.
Residents are requested to use water cautiously due to the low pressure and reduced supply.
