NEET PG Aspirant Takes Exam as Parents Remain Missing

Tanvi had to take an important medical entrance exam while her parents were missing after floods in Nepal.

Her parents were traveling with 65 other people on a Kailash Yatra.

The group was last known to be near an immigration centre and the Friendship Bridge.

Tanvi said she cried for about half of the three-hour exam.

Tears made some questions difficult for her to read.

She also saw a photograph on her admit-card screen that her father had taken.

Tanvi said she continued because she believed her father wanted her to take the exam.

She also missed the curd-and-sugar ritual her mother usually prepared before exams.

She hopes her parents and everyone in the group are safe and return home.
