Women suffer most in Sudan's hunger crisis

Sudan is in a very bad situation where many people don't have enough food.

Women and families led by women are having the hardest time.

More than 21 million people in Sudan don't have enough food to eat.

This is because there has been a conflict for a very long time, and it's making things worse for everyone, especially women.

Many women are also at risk of being hurt while trying to find food.

The United Nations is asking for help from other countries to give food and support to the people in Sudan.

Two cities, al-Fashir and Kadugli, are in very bad shape and need help right away.

More than 100,000 people have left al-Fashir because of the fighting.

The United States has promised to give $2 billion to help, and the UN wants Sudan to be the first country to get this money.
